so I'm calling this piece technolithic which is funny because the root word for technology is art. so it can mean both stone technology and art of stone. lolwhich is likely only funny to me but anyway. lol
it's made from soap stone slabs inlaid with brass is meant to resemble a circuit board. the teeth and disk are hand carved bone. the main gem in the bone disk also well as the two gem plugs is amazonite. it's all held together three colors of hemp twine braided together and connected a braided leather necklace. the clasps is a hand carved bone fish hook and twine loop and the whole necklace has an over all length of 19 inchs
