Description The new episode begins with a woman walking her dog, while the woman stops to tie her shoe, the dog wanders into traffic. Kelsey literally swoops in, rollerblading over top of a car, narrowly dodging traffic as she saves the dog and rolls under and out the other side of a trailer truck. She returns the dog and goes about her business. A bit dramatic, but that's the show. Realism was not and really shouldn't be what Power Rangers strives for.
Diabolico and the demons create a new wind themed monster, it's a brief scene, then on to the Aquabase. Dana is reading something while eating pretzels with the news on. Kelsey comes in just as the news comes to a story about a local astronaut, who turns out to be Nancy, the girl with the dog from earlier. The others come in and watch a live rocket launch Nancy is on. They're interrupted by a new mission, the new monster,Whirlin has whipped up a tornado. The Rangers go to stop Whirlin, when Diabolico appears in the sky, giving the Rangers their first look at him. After a battle, Whirlin retreats, rushing past and causing damage to the rocket Nancy is on. They manage to blast Whirlin, stopping his tornado. Kelsey comes up with a plan to save the rocket.
We get to see some impressive miniature work as the various Rescue Zords prepare to save the rocket. I love the scene of traffic driving into Dana's Med Rescue.
The rocket is rescued, but Jinxer shows up to Whirlin's remains and revives him as a giant. The Rangers firm the Megazord. The formation sequence of the Lightspeed Megazord is one of my favorites. They defeat the monster, and Nancy goes to thank Kelsey. It's explicitly clear here the Rangers don't have secret identities. I like this, and wish it could be done more often. In recent seasons, most if not all old Rangers' identities are public knowledge. That's a little overboard I think, though.

This is a good focus episode for Kelsey, not terribly deep but it shows she can think under pressure and can quickly assess the situation. I love the Zords in Lightspeed, they're so unique among all the others of the series. This episode isn't anything special, but it's fun and it's good.
