I think this came out better than me seeing it with my own eyes! Good shot.

Beautiful shot. Great sharpness.... I quite like that blue tone of the image, however cannot make a discerning decision without seeing a copy without the tone. Well done - I'm impressed.

Lovin' the shot, but I agree with Jules; it's a tad on the blue side. You might consider moving the white balance for the shot further toward the red end of the spectrum to warm it up and bring out more of the greens.

Just a thought

Was this shot with Canon's 60mm EF-S macro lens by chance?

How do you like the lens's performance? I remember I had a very hard time choosing between the 60mm EF-S and the 100mm EF when I was looking for a macro lens awhile back.

I ended up opting for the 100mm because at some point I'll likely switch to a full-frame camera, and I wanted to not have to replace my lenses when I do.

But I've remained curious about the 60mm, and you're the first person where I could identify that as being the lens with which the image was captured.

Yeah. But I also put two more lenses on top of that one. I put a +1 and a +2 lens on it. I actually really like the lens. But I remember the first time that I got it, I had to shoot in T mode instead of P mode. Because a lot of the images came out overexposed. I didn't understand why.. because I just assumed that since it's a close up maybe it takes in light strangely? I don't know.

Goinks. Nice and sharp miss. A little less blue I think though..... I don't know. But nice and sharp for sure
