Description

Meet the new recruits for the different Royal Guard divisions! I know I've shown Hunter before, albeit with a different design . But I felt that he didn't look like he could pass off as a flashlight kid, so I redesigned him. Yeah yeah, he looks super similar to his dad but my explanation for this is in his fun facts. As for Noble, I've also shown him before but that was him as a baby. Aster's the only one who's being shown for the first time here.

Parents: Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst

Love Interest: Ava (flimtrix kid)

Fun Facts:

-They wish to become part of Celestia's Royal guard. Spearhead has taken Aster under his wing in order to train them on different combat styles. The two are often seen as an odd pair, with Spearhead being the eccentric laid-back mentor and Aster the focused and determined student.

-Aster and Noble have been friends for a long time. During Noble's crystallization, Sunburst had brought Starlight and Aster along. Although they were just babies, Aster and Noble became fond of each other and from then on, were the best of friends.

-They met Hunter during one of Flash's shifts at the Crystal Empire, seeing as he was a kid of their mother's friend, Aster enthusiastically introduced themself. Hunter was a bit surprised but cheerfully accepted the invitation towards a new friendship.

-In regards to having Sunset Shimmer as an aunt, they're displeased by this. Even though Sunburst has assured them that she's become a better pony, Aster is very wary around her. This hostility extended to their cousins, which hasn't done wonders for the Sun Family's relationships.

-They love collecting candles, lamps, and lanterns. Starlight says that they get it from their grandmother, Firelight's late wife.

|Flash Hunter|

Gender:Male

Race: Pegasus

Parents: Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry

Herd Parent: Tempest Shadow (in a poly-marriage with his parents)

Siblings: Nova Star , Bright Star , Sizzle Spark

Love Interest: Jade (sparity kid), Carapace (chrysarax kid)

Cutie Mark: three arrows on a bow

Talent: archery

Fun Facts:

-He wishes to be part of the Crystal Empire Guard. As such, he's being taught by his own uncle, Shining Armor. Originally, he was taught by Flash but when Hunter started showing more potential, Shining decided that personally training his nephew would better prepare him (given that Shining has more knowledge on the inner workings of the Crystal Empire).

-He's Twilight's firstborn and is considered the "golden child" among his siblings. Of course, some ponies dislike him because of this title.

-While he has managed to find common ground to bond over with Nova and Sizzle (flying and royal guard training respectively), Hunter and Bright Star aren't as close. But this doesn't stop Hunter from trying to connect with his little brother more often, which usually fails. Bright Star is admittedly a bit annoyed by Hunter and often wishes he'd just settle for a distanced relationship between them.

-Because he inherited the Flash family's orange coat, blue eyes, and pegasi genes, Hunter shares a forename with his ancestor Flash Magnus. This has caused him to be quite popular in the Crystal Empire, where his father is usually deployed.

-Hunter has wished to follow in his father's hoofsteps since he was ten so with Twilight's permission, Flash's enthusiasm and Tempest's small nod, he had been accompanying Flash on his work whenever possible.

Parents: Cadance and Shining Armor

Sibling: Flurry Heart

Love Interest: TBD

Cutie Mark: Shield w/ a golden heart on it

Talent: Protecting others in various ways

Fun Facts:

-His goal is to become part of Luna's Night Guard. The main reason behind this is because Noble sees it as an act of defiance towards his parents. Secretly, he's receiving training lessons from one of Luna's guards, a pinto pony named Pipsqueak. Though over time, Pipsqueak's influence on Noble has caused his desire to join the Night Guard to become more genuine.

-He loves his older sister but envies her, with her inborn alicornhood just being the tip of the iceberg. As a result, Noble constantly tries to push himself out of her shadow which ended up straining the once close bond they had. Flurry is aware that he's bitter but doesn't know that she's the target of his envy, which worsens due to him finding her attempts to comfort him to be "condescending pity."

-As a colt, he was a lot more jovial and affectionate. But the repeated comparisons between him and Flurry ended up weighing him down into the pessimistic pony he is today.

-He suffers from internalized racism, hating that while Flurry basically got a genetic jackpot, he's left with the "recessive leftovers". The only ones aware of this are his mentor Pipsqueak, Aster, and Hunter.

-Noble finds his parents annoying and gets along better with his Aunt Twilight. Admittedly, he sees her as more of a parent to him than both Cadance and Shining combined.

-Luna is his favorite princess, a fact that helped him develop a close relationship with his mentor.
