my headcanon for Pipsqueak and Luna

After Pipsqueak grew up he got a job as a royal guard seeing as he'd be working for his favorite princess, which he got closer to Luna and learned that he really likes her.
He tried multiple times asking her out but she would deny and tell him to get back to work, after a month he asked her why does she say no and she explained to him how throughout her long life she had loved many others but they all end the same way, her attending their funerals which it was devastating every time and would take her a long time to recover. She told him to find a normal mare with a normal life span so they can both live long together, he denied that idea of hers and told her how much he loved everything about her and couldn't shake that from his mind she groaned at his feelings knowing how this would end.

After being pestered after explaining herself she gave in and said just ONE little date just to see how things would go, on their date he treated her like a gentlecolt, it was nice.
A couple months after the date, he tried asking her to another one seeing as they got along after the first one she agreed and they went on their date. Eventually Pipsqueak proposed hoping she'd say yes but was denied, even though they knew each other she didn't want to say yes or go through the whole alicorn-normal pony thing. She did really like Pip for who he is and found him to be humorous and respectable, she thought it over multiple times she didn't want to have her heart broken again. She eventually gave in but instead of thinking that her heart will be broken in the future she thought about how happy she'll make his short life.

The two were engaged and looking for a date to have their wedding, they got married about a a year and a half after the engagement. After the engagement Pipsqueak brought up the subjects of kids, saying look at it like she'll have a heir for when she feel like she can't raise/lower the moon anymore. They eventually had a mare named Dawn.
