A large cicada on a tree. I took this picture on my way back from my trip to Dalmatia.
This insect was so well camouflaged that I had to search for it for over a minute, despite that I could hear where it's loud sound came from (though it went quiet when I moved the camera close to it). Cicadas are loud.
