Description
A bakeneko or “ghost cat” is a type of Japanese Yokai, a monster from traditional folklore. Bakeneko can be translated to mean monster cat, ghost cat, or changing cat.
This Yokai gain power as they age, but tend to stay under the radar from their owners until they choose to attack. Often they possess great shape-shifting powers, but are often given powers they do not have in stories, such as catching things on fire and producing fireballs. A bakeneko’s tail may be abnormally long, especially for a cat who has managed to live 13 years or longer. This lead to the common practice in Japan of bobbing a cat’s tail to prevent it from ever gaining magic powers to begin with.

This cute bakeneko actually very dangerous. He only pretends to be an ordinary schoolboy, but this is far from true. In fact, he has a mighty power - not only magical. He has the power of authority.
