Description Coyote had stolen fire before.

And looking up into the sky full of stars he had scattered so haphazardly, he grinned. Because he had put them there, he knew where all of the rare green stars were. If he stole green fire and put it into the minds of people, they would be cunning like him.

And then?

Well. They would owe him one.

That came out to as many favors as there were people, it was perfect!
But once people were filled with green-fire cunning...
They all tricked Coyote into owing them.

Even now, coyote hides from us, hoping we have forgotten those many, many debts. If you ever catch him, he may even grant you a request.

Based off of Native American coyote myths.

It wasn't until I read your description that I noticed the Coyote walking across the center of the orb. I'd thought he was blending into the background, like a sunspot.

I lovvvve how you did the coyote.

And the story reminds me of this children's book I once had where a coyote was outtricked by a farmer or something. Then later in the book, he was outwitted by a rabbit who said the moon was in the water (it was the reflection) and it tasted like cheese, so if coyote wanted to taste it, he'd have to drink up the lake.

...yeah. Anyway, cool pic, brah. He looks very fluffy and the wispy stuff looks awesome as well.

There are so many "Coyote" children's books x3 I loved them all as a kid, I used to go to this storyteller guy named Joe Hayes every weekend as a kid and he'd tell stories about Coyote and the other desert creatures. I grew up with that instead of fairytales about princesses and stuff.

The coyote coming up in this picture was an accident xD; it was supposed to be "birth of a green star" but while I was smudging a dark spot appeared and I played with it until it looked like a coyote.

What a neat look, how it all kinda blends and has a specific motion with everything. The color scheme is lovely, though maybe resizing it to be just a little bit smaller might help in letting a person take in the image as a whole instead of having to piece in the top from the bottom? Not saying that we can't get something from the preview, but it is a little detatched, the top from the bottom, when you scroll down. Otherwise, it's a great look!
