A/N: I'm really anti-social. At my friends sevententh birthday party, and all I want to do is write storys. Sorry guys, will update my fanfiction later though.

Doctor! The name that crosses everyones mind, everyone's lips, throught the universe. The one with a name that has practically been lost to the universe, only he knows his name, it would be horrible for the universe if it were ever muttered. The Doctor saves everyone from countless take overs, countless deaths, he saves all, with kindness not all deserves. Most importantly, he protects the Earth, home to the humans for a long time.

But, we never notice him. Why? We are all to busy living our lives to notice anything. Some know of who he is, and silently wish he would appear in his T.A.R.D.I.S. Others, have no idea who he is asking, 'Doctor Who?'

Alone a young child, of eight, sits underneath a tree crying their eyes out. Moments ago, the child's way home was lost to her. Her parents had been examining two mysterious angel statues, that were now missing, but once they turned away and the young child blinked the parents and angels were gone. Around her, rain fell down from the sky harshly as if mourning with her. She had no where to go, no idea of where to go. She was practically abandoned.

"What are you doing crying," A man asks crouching down beside her. The girl sniffles still crying, staring at her knees. "What seems to be the problem?"

"My mum and dad are gone! They were just looking at some weird statues...and now they're gone." Cries the young girl now looking up to the green eyed man. He frowns lightly staring at her before nodding lightly.

"The same happened to two of my friends, do you have anywhere to go," Asks the man. The girl shakes her head sniffling again and starring at him. His eyes hold the same sadness, maybe even more than the girl, as he tries to smile lightly. "Would you like to come with me? It will be extremly dangerous, and there will be a lot of running, but I think you'd be safer then you would be here alone."

"Okay...but who are you? I'm not supposed to talk to strangers, but you seem like someone I can trust." The child responds somewhat in thought, trusting him. He just smiles lightly at this before standing, towering over the (e/c) eyed, (h/c) haired girl.

"Yes, if you go with me your going to have to trust me, always." She smiles lightly as well, and he offers a hand which she gladly takes being pulled up by him.

"Okay...But what's your name mister...?" She trails off.

"The Doctor." He grins.

"Nice to meet you Doctor, I'm (name). I'll trust you as long as I need to... Nice bow-tie by the way!" She says energetically before grinning to him. He smiles in return before turning in another direction, pulling her after him.

"Alright (name), lovely name by the way, let's head to the T.A.R.D.I.S. We've got an awful lot of running, to do."
