"Yu Investigates the Competition!"
I figured if Joker and Persona 5 were not as popular with Sakurai, and in general, Yu from Persona 4 would be the first Persona character in Smash, so I tried my best to make a moveset for him.
--SPECIALS--
Standard Special - Zio Yu will summon Izanagi to cast Zio. This is a chargeable projectile attack that works similarly to Robin's Thunder. With no charge, Yu will use the basic Zio attack, a lightning bolt that reaches about halfway across Final Destination and does light chip damage to any opponent in the way. With medium charge, Yu will use Zionga, which reaches the length of Final Destination, doing moderate damage and stunning the opponents for about a second after the attack finishes. At full charge, Yu will use Ziodyne, which will reach across Palutena's Temple, doing heavy damage and stuns the opponent for about two to three seconds after the attack finishes.
Side Special - Cross Slash A technique borrowed from Izanagi's appearance in Persona 5. Yu and Izanagi will charge forward, blades at the ready. If they come in contact with an opponent, they will slash in unison, doing heavy damage and crumpling their opponent. However, if this attack does not connect, Yu will be left vulnerable to attack for a moment.
Up Special - Rising Slash Another technique borrowed from Izanagi's appearance in Persona 5. Yu and Izanagi will fly into the air, blades raised. They will deal multiple hits of light damage, with one final hit of moderate damage at the apex of the attack. This move reaches the same height as Mario's Super Jump Punch.
Down Special - Tarukaja/Rakunda If used normally, Yu will cast Tarukaja, which will briefly buff Yu's attack stats by 1.5x. This state lasts about ten seconds with a five second cool down after it wears off. If used right when Yu would be hit by an attack, he'll cast Rakunda. Yu will dodge the opponent's attack and counter with a slash from his katana, while simultaneously lowering the opponent's defensive stats for about ten seconds.
Final Smash - All-Out Attack! Yu will raise his sword and rush forward. If he connects with an opponent, he will trigger a cutscene. A cut-in of the Investigation Team will appear, and Yu and his team mates will rush the opponent from many different directions and attack ferociously, claoking the chaos in dust and random "Wham!" and "Thump!" exclamations! The onslaught will end with the opponent taking heavy damage and being launched.

Assist Trophy - Kanji Kanji appears wielding a folding chair! Kanji will jump around and smack opponents with his chair! His chair does a lot of damage and has a chance to stun opponents!

Mario, that's Yu Narukami! He's a Persona-user just like Joker! He and his Persona, Izanagi, work together in battle using their blades to deal devastating attacks! When he's about to use Cross Slash, dodge backwards and leave him open to attack!
Taunts
Taunt 1: Yu will slash his sword twice in the air.
Taunt 2: A TV will appear in front of Yu. He will stick his hand inside, but retreat. "Now's not the time."
Taunt 3: Izanagi will appear, standing menacingly behind Yu.
Victory Music: Results - Persona 4
Results Screen
Victory Pose 1: Yu will come out of a tv, looking around, and then posing with his sword in a back-handed stance.
Victory Pose 2: Yu will drop down from above, holding his sword defensively across his chest.
Victory Pose 3: Yu and Izanagi will stand back to back. "With my Persona, I will defeat any criminal in my path!"
Defeat Pose: Yu will clap slowly with Izanagi looming over him.

Nice idea there if Yu was also in Smash with Joker. I myself thought up a different way Yu's moves and skills could be incorporated compered to Joker's where's beside one Persona, Yu could use three like how Pokemon Trainer uses three Pokemon he can switch between with.

When they announced Joker, it pissed me a bit, because it pleased one of the fanbases that annoys me the most. And next, I was always depressed because of Incineroar (well... I still am).
But I was still a little interested in the franchise Persona... But as the games are not translated into French and I do not encourage the purchase of a game in the ambitious scenario without translation, I bought the box of the anime of Persona 4.
So, I would have preferred Yu as a playable character in Smash. Or rather Izanagi alone, without Yu. Because Yu is not the name of the character in the game, but in the anime, suddenly, it would have been complicated to put it. But Izanagi, no problem.

Izanagi doesn’t work without Yu tho. And they’ve used the name in other Persona 4 related media. Also it shouldn’t matter to you who gets in. Just enjoy the game.

No, it's psychological, I can not play Smash bros anymore. And it's not only because Incineroar is in the game, it goes further than that, but it becomes personal. Just tell yourself that nothing you can say will change my mind, and I must understand.

If ever there were to be other Persona Characters in Smash Bros., I’m pretty sure they like Joker would obviously use the same Series Icon as well for the fact that they’re from the same franchise.
