Hoenn is my favorite region! (hence the name)
I seem to remember my favorite place to battle was against Sr. and Jr. Anna and Meg outside Maville city. Good times... I wonder when the remakes will come out... I just hope they use the same font they did before; you know, the leads being the horns, and almost nothing else.

Agreed. I still can't understand why the third generation gets so much hate :/ It had the best story-line in my opinion; finding out about a centuries-old mystery, and even having the champion work with you to best the teams. You even get TWO teams! No other region has that!

Hahahahaha... There are haters for all generations (including the first one), it's impossible for the franchise to please all of us with every game.
Personally, I like the five generations and have good times.

The high point of generation 5 was Skyla... Oh well, I guess you're right, but generation 3 has the most hate out of any of the others.

Well, I don't really know myself. I liked the whole game, but something about Skyla's personality just clicked with my passion for flight as well. (die-hard WWII Aircraft fanboy alert.)
She seemed much nicer and more tangible than the other leaders... except for Burgh, he held my interest quite well after he outsmarted team Plasma. (those fools don't deserve to mock the Knights Templar!)
