Description
When I'm hunkered down inking pages, I tend to find less time or maybe even desire to draw. So having a quick break from that, I'm always a bit rusty jumping back into drawing. So I consider these to be warm-up quick pieces before working on commission stuff.The brush pen tends to go a bit wild, lines and forms don't exactly meet or look as correctly as they should. But it gives me a chance to try to build up some kind of flow.
For no reason other than flipping thru my DC encyclopedia for reference and inspiration....here are Despero, the Demon, the Creeper, and Kanjar Ro.

Yeah just quick light blue before the inks. I need to get those refillable ones. Even my pencils are old fashioned (with the eraser on the end and having to put it into a sharpener). heh

The thing about my blue pencil refills are they dont rub out very well, which is quite annoying.
I have some odd pet peeve about normal pencils, I hate pencils getting slightly blunt. I never used to be like this until I started using mechanical pencils, but now I have about 6 of them in my pencil case, and I aim to get different soft leads in them, but anything other than B is hard to come by around here
