A darker photo for the Halloween season. Also my first attempt at an HDR.Taken in Preparation Canyon State Park, Iowa, at sunset. I don't know for sure what eroded this hill, but there is a small spring nearby that probably did the trick. The Loess (pronounced "luss") Hill area was formed during the ice age, and is unique in its soil composition, formations, and wildlife.
Behind me, as I took this photo, stands the tree that is the subject of "Find A Way," a photo I took about ten minutes before taking this one.

The more I look at this the more it feels like the sky is moving behind the tree... really neat shot

I hadn't noticed that before. To me it looks like, if I stare at the cloud, the branches are shifting a little.
