Hey Dan, I really would like to own this painting, do you sell prints?

Hey Dave, this one was sold years ago but it's still in my area so I may be able to get a better pic of it for prints.

This is great! You nailed the feeling of isolation and desolation, also great coloring on the metal. I work with metal and I can say that is a perfect picture of rust!

Thanks! I definitely like to put texture in my work and metal has so many.

Ah, moody. I'm actually in the middle of a piece on Cgsociety which has a few similarities with this. [link] check it out if ye like.

Thank ye . Your piece has inspired me a bit for a coming painting. Don't think it'll contain another robot but, the rusty texture and eroded edges of your robot made alot of pictures pop up in my head. ^_^ I love old, overgrown, crumbled structures and things. Often sets a certain calm, tranquil mood to the scene for me.
Forgive my ramblings. Again, great work!

I really like the colors within this work. It's both soft and yet it can define everything easily. The off set of the figure to the background with that white halo makes it punch out very nicely. The light and the texture on the armor there is nicely done, and with it propped up against the fence posts like that it makes it appear almost as if it was slain and left to weather the elements. Another great thing is how there is just enough detail within this picture to make you really look at it, without unbalancing the soft colors..

Nice work..
