I might have used an ink wash on this if I'd had my ink, Lord knows I had the time. But it was a Con, you're usually too busy.

Yes, I tend toward brushes. Since this was at a convention, I used the pens I had with me.

What types of brushes? I'd like to try my hand at them. Seeing the results you get, it may be very benificial...

I'm using a Winsor & Newton Series 7 # 2. The #3 never worked as well for me. I've had the brush I'm using now for almost two years. Brushes can last for some time if you take care of them. On the other hand, you sometimes get one and it craps out on the first use. Then you're out $20, and it's only good for spotting black areas...
