Here is an improved version of a character that didn't make it into the books - Barry the Rescue Engine. He got his name after the scrapyard from which he was rescued.Barry now has improved valve gear, a clack valve in place of the top feed, dome has moved forwards, BR standard handrails and whistle, and other new features that make him truer to his basis.
