The 90s survival horror videogame "Dino Crisis" was always one that really stuck in my memory. Instead of the more adventure/blockbuster oriented vibe of the "Jurassic Park" movies (and especially the current "Jurassic World" ones), "Dino Crisis" was far more horror oriented. It reminded me a lot of what director James Cameron's vision supposedly was for what he would've done with "Jurassic Park" if he would've gotten the film rights to it before Spielberg."Dino Crisis" always felt like as if an entire story was focussing on the horror vibe of when Ellie Sattler was trying to get that power generator running while having to avoid getting killed by raptors hiding in the shadows. Now imagine an entire survival horror movie at night like that.
With that said, it inspired me to make a poster for a potential "Dino Crisis" movie. The casting choices here are inspired by some very interesting ones I discovered on the web, including casting the very underrated Olivia Thirlby as Regina (loved her performance in "Dredd").
I'm quite possibly in the minority with this but I'd find a "Dino Crisis" movie (or let alone any fully horror oriented dinosaur movie) to be something really special and with lots of potential. Enjoy!
