I present to you, my humanized version of Pony.MOV. Oh my god, I absolutely love this thing! I feel like a proud parent! For those of you that are unfamiliar with the .MOV series, it is a animated parody of mlp, it is hilarious and not for little kids. I'm a fan of hotdiggedydemon's work and I hope I did the series justice. I have them all in their respective order, and I added spike.MOV because I couldn't NOT draw stoner spike and Paco, who was just too cute to leave out.
For Applejack, all I did differently was shorten both shirts and the pants and reddened the eyes. I really wanted to give her a "high and slightly cracked" look, and I feel that I pulled it off.
For Rarity, I obviously had to fatten her right up. I've never really drawn fat people before, I've drawn chubby people, but not FAT people, and I have to say.... not bad for a first try. What may or may not be less obvious is that I went a little heavier with the makeup than I usually would. In Dress. MOV, she states that she is "the most beautiful creature in Equestria" and I thought that she would use a lot of makeup to back up that statement.
Fluttershy was, for me, the most fun to draw out of all of them, even though she's only my second favorite mane 6 character. ( my favorite is, and will always be Pinkie) It was WAAAAAAAAY too much fun drawing her normally in pencil, then adding all the little details to make her look insane. The messy hair, the ripped clothes, the dark circles under her eyes.....she looks like she's been to hell and back, and that's exactly what I was going for. It's all in the details. And look at that chainsaw! LOOK AT IT! Finally, I drew a chainsaw and it didn't come out like utter crap!
I modified Twilight's skirt and gave her a different vest. One with a pocket which I put the cutie mark on. I also gave her a different set of goggles. If you look at her singular picture and then this one, you can tell how much better I've gotten at posing and perspective and pretty much everything.
As I said before, Pinkie Pie is my favorite mane 6 character, but I spared no expense when '.MOV'ing her. She's got her .MOV outfit on, but I wasn't exactly sure what it said on her shirt, so I just went with visible nippleage, 'cause that's always seemed kinda trashy to me. I wanted to keep her looking trashy and nothing like she is in the actual show. (I wonder what Cheese Sandwich would think of her now) I also gave her her only friend, 40-ounces of 190 proof straight vodka, which she will promptly down as soon as she's finished that cigarette.
Rainbow Dash's outfit was the most basic thing I could think of, just a blue sports bra, (I think it's acceptable to wear just one of those in public now) And some ripped blue jeans. I tried (and somewhat failed, but whateve's) to give her abs, and I made her cutie mark into a necklace because if it was where it usually is, it wouldn't be visible from the angle I've drawn her there at.
This is pretty much how I would draw grown-up Spike, except maybe a little taller and with a different shirt, maybe. I could imagine him and Paco hanging out all the time, with Spike pretty much always stoned. (Weed makes everything chill, even hair, lol)
