Draw everything on one sheet of paper. Spend no less than a minute on each.This is a simple exercise to get people used to drawing the head looking in different directions. Notice how playing with the ears position can change the exact direction the head is turned.
Practice dividing the head in all directions... when you are done drawing all these then add eyes, nose, mouths and hair to create characters and expressions.

That's another thing I've had to work on correcting in the past five years: Adding room for the brain. I guess when you see people with really long hair shagging in front of their heads, it's hard to tell the size of the skull. But with your help in this picture, it's easier to add room for the eyebrows to move even with shaggy hair.
