Description
A necklace from my "Seven Deadly Sins" project that I made for my Bachelor's Degree in Design.
This is also the actual catalog presentation I made for the exhibition. My aim was to present the jewelry both on its own and on a model, the photograph of the piece worn also portraying the sin by color theme and expression.

This one is Lust and it is made of silver plated wire, alluminum wire, 3 acrylic beads and a blue (dyed) agate stone.
The piece is handmade by me.
For this piece I have not represented lust as a desire of carnal pleasure, but as a desire for luxury, which I considered different from greed because luxurious things have the purpose to please the posessor in the most exquisite way.

Each of the necklaces from the series features these hand/claw modules, since I wanted to keep an element of unity throughout the series and also beacause I've considered the hand/claw to be a very versatile and expressive element, which would make the communicating of the concept easier.
