I did a color version too, but it just didn't feel...right
. I guess I'm 'committed' to black and white, or I have a color-phobia 
mechanical HB, 2B and 4B pencils used
background edited a bit in photoshop to look gradient-like.
took surprisingly little time to finish.

i didn't smudge anything: i tried to make the shading as smooth as possible, and i edited the background a little to look gradient-like (description).
