It was near the end of April and both Halt and Foxy had been trying to figure out what to wear for the Precure villain tournament that they'd been planning behind the backs of the Dusketeers. Foxy had signed up the trio in secret and she and Halt had been doing their best to put some fun challenges into the tournament. They had collected a total of 32 villains who participated in the tournament, but they had not found an outfit to wear yet. Then one day Foxy came rushing into Halt's room when the others weren't around. She was holding a shopping bag and seemed a little out of breath but excited nontheless. 'Halt, I've found something amazing you could wear while hosting the tournament!' Her eyes all starry and excited to show him what she'd found. Halt was startled at first since she ran into the room without knocking, but the excitement in her voice made him curious to see what she had found for him. So he took the bag from her when she handed it over and took a peek. Most of the outfit turned out to be green, his usual colour. It did seem fancy too which made him willing to give it a try to put it on. Then he looked back up at Foxy and nodded. 'I'll give it a try to put this on.' He said. Then he put the bag on top of his bed and started to undress so he could put on the new outfit. This startled Foxy for a moment, but then she realized that Halt didn't have much experience with human behaviour. He was still learning. Quickly she turned her back at him to give him some privacy while getting dressed.
It took him a little while to put on the whole outfit. Mainly in figuring out which part came first. The boots were a bit of a struggle to get in since they were long, but in the end he succeeded. Looking super fancy in his new outfit with the high heels. The outfit reminded him somewhat of his friend Shut. It had a similar fancy flair to it and honestly, he liked it. He felt so pretty in his new outfit as he observed himself in the body mirror that was placed in the bedroom by Asmodeus once. For a moment he couldn't stop smiling and observing his reflection in the mirror. Not even realizing that Foxy had turned around to see if he was done dressing up, only to be caught by her while he looked like a happy kid in a candy store. He spotted her looking at him in the mirror reflection and turned around. 'Foxy, this is beautiful. Where did you find this?' He said, looking very happy. Then he spotted the blush on Foxy's face while she was staring at him. 'Foxy? Are you okay? Is it too hot in here for you?' 'Huh?' It took Foxy a moment to realize where she was again and she shook her head, looking sheepish as she answered Halt's question. 'Heh heh, sorry for that. It's just that you look even more handsome in the outfit then I imagined. Halt you surely look great in this.' She said while smiling. Halt started to blush because of the compliment and then the door to the room opened. Close, Lock and Shut walked in as Halt was still dressed in the outfit and all of them stopped immediatly when they saw him dressed like that.
'Who turned Halt into a Shut 2.0?' Lock asked. He tried his best to make it sound casual, but there was still a hint of surprise in there. Close didn't seem like he would say a word for a while. Shut on the other hand seemed somewhat flattered by the sudden appearance in front of him and he approved of the look. 'It was me.' Foxy said proudly. 'I picked these clothes for Halt. What do you think?' Her curiosity now raising higher as the others had entered the room. Shut was the first to answer. 'I see that you've developed a fine taste in clothing and started to reflect it on our friend. Halt's looking like a fine gentleman in this outfit of a high status. A man worthy to be seen.' 'Of course you would say that.' Lock interrupted. 'But yeah, you look good in that outfit Halt. Foxy made the right choice.' He continued as he still looked at Halt. The flattering compliments made Halt's face beam with happiness, but there was still Close his opinion which he hadn't heard. The whole group was staring at him now to see what he had to say. Close realized it and took turns looking at them. 'Why are ya starin' at me?' 'Isn't it obvious?' Shut answered. 'We want to know your opinion on Halt's look.' Lock continued. Close looked back at Halt again as he was looking for a way to answer the question. 'I suppose he's lookin' good. I didn't think there would be two of Shut walkin' around at some point, but I should have seen it comin'. He said and then walked up to his bed in the bedroom.
'Sounds like the shopping was a success.' Foxy said and looked at Halt again. 'They all approved of your looks Halt. How does that feel?' Halt did feel a little more accepted by the group, but mainly he felt happy that he'd received the compliments. The happiness seemed to beam off him. Like some bright sunshine.
'May I ask for the occasion for this makeover?' Shut suddenly asked. Halt and Foxy looked at each other as if they asked the other who would tell them. Which gave an awkward growing silence for a moment. The Dusketeers ended up staring at them, expectantly. Eventually Foxy decided to take the bullet and took a deep breath before she said it. 'Well... we uhm... We might have decided to host a tournament for precure villains only... and I might have signed the three of you up for this.' She said, slowly hiding behind Halt as she spoke. 'YOU WHAT!' Close said as he jumped off his bed which he hardly had taken place on. 'We are in a tournament?' Lock asked in disbelieve. 'Why did you do that behind our backs?' Shut finished with the most important question. 'Well, let me say... RUN!' Foxy answered and before anyone realized it she had grabbed Halt's hand and the two ran out of the room. Soon to be followed by three confused Dusketeers
