Well, I only have what I can afford. I have the cheapest 50mm possible(but still a great plastic lens), I don't have a 10-22, and the 8mm I got as a present for my birthday
There are a lot which I would like to buy if I had the money
But I guess I manage with these for now(and also my old manual lenses, which work only with an adapter, and they have a few problems )

So with your old manual lenses...you are use a m42 adapter?
Finally I've found some one to ask
What problems do you encounter?...it always seem they mention manual focus only, which is cool...but they make out there's nothing else that could be trouble?
I've always wondered about going that route....

Well, well
I have some things I dislike about the m42 adapter.
I'm not troubled about the manual focus, because I'm a fan of manual focus, I used it while filming and still use it, and it passed into photography as well.
The only thing I'm not satisfied with is the fact that I can't focus infinity, and it's sometimes frustrating.
But I have an older version of the adapter, I know the newer ones have a chip which solves that problem
Also, it depends on what camera you use/and what m42 lens you use because some of the lenses could deteriorate your sensor.

I read about the focus-infinity problem, but as you know, they make them to counter that problem hopefully
I am in the habit of manual focus anyway, if you can't trust your own eye...what the hell can you trust?

Well, there are people who like to use auto-focus a lot. Not everybody can be the same, obviously, and it's important to find a way that serves you the best, if that makes sense
