This is a great portfolio picture for the model, however as a stand-alone pice it requires some adjustments. The overall balance of the photograph is heavy on the cold and sterile side, and this choice of photo temperature perfectly compliments the model's blonde hair and rather bright, soft complexion. The only part of the picture that breaks the balance is the model's reddened fingers. They do not fit the tone of the photo, seem overlooked and add some unnecessary contrast to how sterile and clean the picture is otherwise. They're a relatively small piece of the photo, however it's hard not to notice them, because of how close they are to the main focus of this work - the face. They draw attention away from the subtle beauty of the model, the very well-matched makeup. Overall, this is a very well made photograph for a fashion/design presentation. Even if it's not discovering anything new, it serves its purpose very well. As a side note, even if the model's expression isn't original, it's quite mesmerizing - props to the makeup artist for creating a mysterious, intoxicating look.
