Me too! Especially now, when Damon demonstrated his feelings for Elena and Katherine back... It's so frustrating, that we must wait all the way to the autumn.

Anyway, wanted to share my opinion of that hand-to-mouth after the kiss...
I read a comment somewhere some time ago, and I couldn't agree more with it.
I don't think he actually thought: "Oh wait, haven't I kissed her already?" - What I think is that he was more surprised by the intensity of the kiss. Remember, Elena's with Stefan, but she TOTALLY kissed the crap out of Damon. And he was more like: "Whoa" x) And he could totally hear her saying: "I don't wanna talk about it" to Jenna. And he was thinking: "YES! Elena lurvs me too :3" haha!
And a thing that kinda proves this theory is that... if Damon knew that she was Katherine, then he so wouldn't have let her go into the house without doing anything! Remember, he's in love with Elena now, and he totally wouldn't let Elena and her fam be victims of Katherine...
But that hand-to-mouth thing was brilliant of the directors! 'cause it could be interpreted in so many ways, but I'm sure my theory is the right one
