What a beautiful photo!

The lighting looks fantastic, it illuminates the wood in just the right places to really make this photo 'pop.'

I love the different textures throughout this - somehow the wood seems to look almost smooth and rough at the same time, kind of glassy almost. Very cool!

As for the composition, it looks good, but I think it would be better if the photo were shifted up a bit. I think the top of the photo is slightly more interesting than the bottom currently, so this might help to balance it out. It would also center the ring more, while still having it on the right side.
