Description
I think this is my best painting yet, and i think it's more realistic than my others (thanks for tips people).This took about 30hrs to paint over a 2 week period. The background was painted with some downloaded brushes, i'll post link later. Any tips would be appreciated.

yeah i read a warhammer 40k crossover fanfic that had him as one of the guys they had to fight he didn't get described half as good as the pic does

Not familiar with warhammer, this reminds me of the space comics I used to read as a kid. Like I could see Thanos fighting this guy, but FINE its warhammer and I am old and clueless.
I especially like the background, quasi-occult/stargate thingy and the spiral galaxy both look excellent.

not much bigger than this, i was going to do a full bust of him but cut it short as it was taking way too long

Anyway, incredible attention to detail you have here, I must confess I have seen few monstorus creatures with this amount of detail. Spot on, good um dancing monkey person.

haha, m never happy with my own art, i look back at my older deviations and im embarrased at how bad they are, im constantly changing how i paint on photoshop, it's like a progression for me. If i ever get good at this stuff people will be able to look back and see how bad i was, haha

I think it's awesome that you made something that does not exist in this world but make it as realistic as possible. It's almost as if you can run your hands and feels the bumps on his body or even feel the dampness of his saliva(although I am not sure most people would want to lol.)
