In regards to european myths of the Indrik beast, its obvious that this animal isnt the inspiration, unless someone found a skeleton. If not, what would the inspiration be, some ice aged creature seen by the first europeans? Mammoth or elasmothere, yes?

Indrik = mammoth. Maybe also some rumors about rhinoceroses ("nozdroch" in Old Russian books)

I don't have skeletal drawings of Juxia, so most probably - not. If I find something - maybe.
