Issue 2 of Wootlabs! When a secret society takes offense to the presence of a new hero in Cascade City, they make a plan of attack! Meanwhile, Actions Per Minute and Square Woot go on their very first date!

This was a breakthrough episode for Penny, and one of my all time favorites. One thing I wanted to strive for with Wootlabs is a homosexual couple that has a personality BEYOND their orientation. You see a lot of really generalized takes on gay characters, especially in bigger media. In the Wootlabs universe, I don't work in sexual discrimination or the complicated political side of things. Love is love in Cascade City. I only mention this because when I posted this comic, some people thought she was looking down and out because she wasn't sure if she wanted to be in a same sex relationship. That isn't it at all. Penny's hesitant because she knows she's damaged; both physically and mentally. The old drama llama of being really lonely, yet not thinking you're good enough for the person that cares about you.
