This is a very cute piece, I love it: The colours are well chosen, pose is great and the soft shading gives a really nice feel to it. The characters are adorable with their designs as well.
However, even though it looks great as is, a background, even a simple one, would help create more of an impact, and the eyes just don't fit right (in my personal opinion). And although it contradicts my statement, the pose is somewhat generic as well.
Overall I say this is a great piece of art despite the small flaws, and I would love to see more like it.
