It's never too late or too early for a summer artwork.

Inspired by Rin Hoshizora from Love Live's swimsuit outfit! I have decided to try out foreshortening and backgrounds more.

It was really hard to bring out the splashing effect. Even now it still looks wrong, but I'll practice more next time. I had to put a lot of effort on the foreshortening and the water splashes. But painting the ocean was a lot of fun.

Originally, I tried grayscale painting. But for reason, it didn't work for me. Or probably because I just didn't do it correctly. -.- So I tried my usual stuff. I've decided to stick with this coloring style instead. I'll just enhance it as I go on. It's really hard to develop a coloring style especially when you suddenly an artist and you think that "Oh! I want that style!" then you get frustrated because you can't do it... But it's good to be familiar with all styles. And I will most certainly try a cleaner lineart next time.

Oh well. Critiques and comments are most certainly welcome! Also, thank you to my frequent watchers who view, favorite, and comment on my artwork. It's makes me feel motivated to see a lot of feedback on my inbox. ^_^

EDIT: I edited the water splash effect. My bf told me to remove the "butt". lol
