Description
This was one of the concept sketchs that I did for Dead Dog Comic's prequel to the Evil Dead series. Obviously, Ash wouldn't be involved in this run, being a prequel, but he would show up at the end. DDC used my sketches for different promotional shows, but nothing more. Then, they went with a more cartoony looking style of art, which bummed me out at the time, but ended up looking really good. Besides, I would rather pencil an ED story with Ash as the lead.

This was used to promote the current Evil Dead series from Dead Dog comics. I did these a year and a half ago, when I was is the running to do one of their horror adaptation books. They're doin' tons of 'em, from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Howling, Night of the Living Dead, to Evil Dead, and a few others. Check out their site.
