This is an older pic [link] but I felt that it needed color. What better way to experiment with some new techniques eh? There's also another reason that I did this. I got an e-mail from the Children's book agency asking if I had a website up for publishers to see my artwork since I am insisting on doing it myself. The only problem with that...would be the naked/half naked bloody girls on my intro page. Great for selling tattoos and showcasing my horror stuff, but not so great for shopping my children's book. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to be using the original intro pages featuring and , just not for the next six months. I figured that this picture displayed both my horror side as well as my children's illustration work. My wife's been suggesting that I open up a site dedicated to only my poems and this kind of stuff. This took me about 6 and 1/2 hours to color. Ink, PS, TabletRelated content

awesome pic. i love the vibrant colours and excellent job on the girl and the snake. i only wish you'd been around to decorate my traintrack braces with skulls a few years back

I have always loved this image. It's probably one of my favorites of yours from forever ago and I was surprised to see it in color! I like it and I usually don't go for color images, I prefer straight up black but this is very well done and I'm especially impressed with the shoes!

Nice work! Love the colors and tones. The setup and composition is both humorous and far fetched. I like the childish horror concept in a Tim Burton sort of way. I must say that it is not related to nor a vision of the other, just a type of translation regarding the style. Gonna add to my fav's...
