As a Californian living through #drought and #climatechange , I remember when I was growing up and my locale generally got rain between October and April; now, we're lucky to get rain November through March a lot of the time, and the customary warm spell in January can lessen our chances of rain.

This is my fantasy: an almighty #downpour returning to his #beloved #oak , desperately #thirsty from the absence and yearning for the reassuring healing rain. So many trees where I live look so stressed from thirst...!
And, as my first (and, so far, only romance) began in autumn, I associate the fall with romance in addition to the coming rainy season.
