It's the final weekend of March, and the Gran Turismo Gr.3 Championship is getting ready for its first-ever race in Europe with a 500 kilometer race on the western Italian island of Sardinia. You probably may have noticed that because we're in Italy, I've got the text and event dates on the bottom of the picture in Italian. Michelin is all over the place when you have a good look at all the decorations, so they'll be sponsoring this event.

Nissan's Miles "Tails" Prower has a four-point lead over teammate Diddy Kong going into this race, and I currently have hold of third place in the standings. However, success ballast will continue to be an issue for us for some time, and it is likely that all three of us will have a very hard time throughout this entire European triple-header. Our other teammate, Yukichi Suzuki, who is currently seventh in points, is only on 40 kgs of ballast, so he may have an easier time this weekend than the rest of us. There are a total of 21 cars with success ballast this weekend, so we may very well see quite a change in the pecking order for this first-ever European round.
