My hobbies include making crack ships!! This time it's Lily Luna Potter and Lysander Scamander because its cute in my head.
I imagine Lily and Lysander are best friends, but are sorted in different houses; Lily - Gryffindor and Lysander - Slytherin. This puts a strain on their relationship (Not to mention James makes it hard for them). In later years at Hogwarts Lily gets in a toxic relationship with a meatheaded Gryffindor, and when things start to crumble the only thing that can cheer her up is sneaking out to a tower with her old friend and spending a few heart to heart hours complaining about her woes.

I ship these two but I also ship Lily with Scorpius but I also ship Rose with Scorpius

I ship some contradicting pairings too, shipping wars r so hard when until recently we only had the names of some of the Next Generation characters.
I never got interested in Lily and Scorpius, but I once shipped Scorpius and James to spite the fandom that saw James as a bully. I'm interested in hearing why you like Scorpius and Lily together though, I guess I just never thought of that ship much.

Well I have read multiple ScoRose fanfics. In each one Lily has a different personality. But in each fanfic I feel like she fits his personality more than Rose and not to mention that the Scorpius/Lily fanart is beautiful

Actually I like the idea of this ship, regardless of how these 2 got sorted. And why does everyone think James is gonna be a total arse? He's Albus' brother; it's duty to pick on the kid.

I agree people try to make James a total jerk and bully (I've read a few stories where he beats up Scorpius and I think it's cringe worthy), but I believe he is just a little bit of a jerk mostly just to his family. It's like a protective older brother thing and maybe in my mind he doesn't like Slytherins (Or doesn't trust them).

True enough.
I could see the whole not trusting Slytherins trait being there and something Harry disapproves of but can't really get his eldest to give up on his own. I could see James beating up a Syltherin who either did or he thought had hurt one of his younger siblings or cousins but then he probably would beat up ANYONE who hurt those people. Plus I think he'd eventually figure out that there are good and bad apples in every bunch.
