Note: I do have name for Rouge, I just don't want to reveal it - important for plot >_>
Enjoy. Art of Gawain tomorrow... I hope.
This is sort of teaser art to my brand new comic, that I'm going to start in January (or maybe earlier, maybe later). It is based on Arturian legends ans SATBK. Plot is fully created by me (although I was inspired by sir Thomas Malory.))).
In the beginning, comic was planned as KnuxRouge one, but after I wrote plot's summary and half of it, I noticed, that it became plot of SATBK-based comic with a lot of KnuxRouge. There is a plenty of characters messed up in plot

this was actually the idea behind it. the script i started writing and ditched halfway was a mish mash of arthurian legends, in-game universe lore (spanning multiple games) and my own stuff. iirc knux and rouge were supposed to meet in their orderly thief-guardian fashion, then develop a bond, then get separated in some shenanigans an then knux encounters the loathly hag for her to be later revealed as in-universe rouge. entailed an awful lot of drama, too.
was a hefty project, though, probably would've spanned for years.
and the answer is p simple - i grew up, mate. sorry to disappoint.

Aw yeah, this is how Rouge should be in Sonic and the Black Knight! Most people seem to make her a knight or a dame but I've been wanting a drawing of her as a thief because that's what she is.

Who is Rouge supposed to be?
I took a course on King Arthur and read several Arthurian books, including Le Morte d'Arthur, by Sir Thomas Mallory, and I can't recall anyone fitting this character's description.
I'd appreciate it if you can fill me in.

Actually, Rouge doesn't have any proper counterpart in any literature, related to King Arthur, so I created my own mixed one, partially basing the plot on a certain Gawain-related poem.

I think it was Gawain who said that they should all go on the Grail quest.
Lancelot would have completed the quest, but it was his love for Guinevere that impeded him.

Y'see, if I would have been creating a storyline, related mostly to Arthur or Lancelot, then there would be use to Merlin/Merlina, whatever. But I am writing a plot about Gawain 
Plot isn't actually based on "Morte d'Arthur", even though it has some episodes from it. The plot is a crazy mix of different Arthur-related works, two Gawain-related compositions and my own sick imagination.

In his epic battle against Lancelot, he was on the offensive and Lancelot was on the defensive until after noon, that's when his power went down and Lancelot went on the offensive, eventually defeating him.
