It is both a fanart and a comic- but I put it in the comic section.
I'm doing this for an English assignment. So if it seems people are saying really pointless brabble- it's because I'm am answering required questions fo the assignment.

Edward Elric is the name of the main character of Fullmetal Alchemist. The reason why he's mentioned is because when the TV was turned on, one of it's opening songs started to play, hence the line "FMA is on?!" and the sudden attraction to the screen. It is probably the best series of anything (Anime, book, manga, TV show, etc. all included) I have ever encountered. You should check it out!
