Temporal knights vs. Teutonic knights

To start us off
Teutonic Knights side with Knights Hospitaller's against the Templar's, and have been since 1209 thus starting the origin of long-standing opposition between the Templar's and Teutonic Knights.

The oath of the Medieval Teutonic Knights was as follows:

"I... do profess and promise chastity, giving up all property, and obedience to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary and to you, Brother ... Master of the Teutonic Order, and to your successors, according to the Rules and Regulations of the Order. And I will be obedient to you, and to your successors, even unto death."

Teutonic's garments are marked very distinctively with a white cloak bearing a stark black cross on the left shoulder.

Where as the Templar knights, wear white mantles with a red cross.

The Knights Templar were occasionally at odds with the two other military orders, the Knights Hospitaller and the Teutonic Knights, and decades of internecine feuds weakened there positions, politically and militarily.
