Description The eastern border of 'Mirkwood Forest'.
The Elves probably think the barrels their sitting on are empty. But are they?

It's a very free, reduced, minimalistic drawing I did, trying to illustrate 'The Hobbit'.
I like the contrast with the abundance of most ofย  the usual illustrations.
