just ruining something i'm not supposed to ruin...
at first i want to make a mermaid under the sea, but after a thought, it looks like the mermaid is in an aquarium... LOL
anyway...
it's kinda difficult to make the surrounding...
i have no idea how the light goes under the sea and how it looks like...
guess i still have a lot to learn... *sigh*
the mermaid's hair is blue, green, pink, and purple...
i want to make it like a sea shell... the white shell that shows rainbow colors when you see it under light.
but it's kinda hard to make it that way..
anyway, enjoy...

Very nice colouring, and again, perspective.
The hair looks great. Perhaps, to achieve an 'underwater' feel, you could add light patches to the ground/ sea bed, to try and simulate the effect of light filtering through water. You can find a lot of good reference pictures here on dA. An example being: [link]
You can see how, as light enters water on a few rays hit the sea bed - which is partially visable -, making a random light pattern. :3
Again, however, nice piece, the perspectives great and I especially love the hair!
