Um...welcome to the roboharem?
If this image looks familiar, you're probably right: that promotional image for Haruhi's stuck with me for a long time but I could not for the life of me decide what to pay tribute to it with.
Can't say that anymore, can I?
Figured this was also worth mentioning because this was the first work I've done almost entirely in Adobe Illustrator. The metal of Sari's chair, the curtain background and the "ambiance" effects (shoujo flares, sparkles) are the only parts that are raster. (Yes, the folds were a nightmare. But it was worth it.) Which means you can print it out. (This is the web version. Print version is way bigger.)
