I like the fact that you can practically see all of the strokes you put down. What kind of "brush" did you do use for the majority of it?

I also like the emotion on her face, it sort of reflects how hard it is training to be a geisha. Even if you're not going to do anything more to it, I was thinking that the lips aren't usually fully red.... maybe it's just me. And her costume isn't that complete from this perspective since usually one has at least another collar under the main kimono which has a dip in the back, right? Did you have a reference for this? I'm just wondering.

thanks, no finished version and I wont be working on it anymore since that is the original resolution which is much too small for anything other than a sketch, I was just trying out the sargent brush. I might do a more complete picture sometime of a maiko girl.
