3rd in a series (of 4) in the Simplicity image. I'm still trying different things, and I like this one the best so far.I've switched back to the 16:9 ratio. It just seems to look better somehow. As always, feedback is appreciated.
EDITED: I took some of your suggestions, and dimmed the background stars a bit, as well as brightening the Moon just slightly. Enjoy.

I have worked with Vue D'esprit a fair amount, until it just stopped working on my machine : :

does have a lot of problems with stars for some reason, it's almost impossible to make the look satisfactory, nevermind realistic, so minimal stars in a night scene is a good idea
the water can look a lot better than this. I don't remember if Vue does transparencies in water, but I know it can reflect better, and can have better ripples to it. ..it looks like plastic or jello or something
The tree and landscape look fantastic
the close greens are a little too light, try doing some stuff to make them a little more mysterious

I think if you toned down the stars, it would look better.

This was done with Vue d'Esprit v4. It's a pretty cool program, and offers a lot of control over the images. This program is already giving me the ability to create things that Bryce would never let me do.
