Miss Sherry and Mister Jake - Sherry Birkin (misspelled Burkin in the comic) and Jake Wesker, both of whom were drawn together due to the events of RE6. In the world of Exodus they still keep in touch and visit with each other as their different lifestyles allow, and their romance that started in RE6 continues to grow. This Christmas visit with Dr. Walker, who served as Sherry surrogate mother after Raccoon City but who has also been a lifelong friend, has provided a perfect occasion for them getting back together in person. It's a perfectly natural thing for Sherry to want to spend Christmas with Dr. Walker, given their relationship, and it also stands to reason that she would have told Dr. Walker about Jake and the two meet each other at some point following the events of RE6. That's why everybody knows each other. It's part of the whole Exodus thing, remember -- letting you know how fan fave or special characters like the adult Sherry and RE6's Jake are doing later on in life, rather than leaving you hanging like Capcom frequently does.
