This is a set of two images depicting an event that happened to Dr. Walker in late December of 2015, when she was abducted from a charity benefit by terrorists from the Abu Durka organization (yes, its a Team America reference XD) and held captive either for ransom by the DSO or for sale to the highest bidder among the world's various villains and villainous organizations, given the fact that she was the free world's leading expert on bio-organic technology at that time. She was eventually rescued by a DSO team led by Leon Kennedy from a multi-story warehouse just outside of Alexandria, Virginia, which Abu Durka had filled with a combination of its own people, infected, and various B.O.W. types in an effort to prevent any such rescue. It winds up being the only time that Leon and Elza share an adventure together in the Exodus continuity, just as was first intended in the original RE1.5 and is an author's wink by me at that. The abduction of Dr. Walker by Abu Durka is never mentioned in the Exodus Epilogue but it gets plenty of mention in both the "Christmas Surprise (2016)" and "The Applicant" supplemental Exodus web comics. You can find out more about it once I get those re-posted -- which will hopefully be soon. Stay tuned.
BTW I offer this (Resident Evil: The Abu Durka Affair as I will call it) as the basis for a quickie multi-level, action shooter type fan-created video game for any talented fans wanting to make their own video game set in the RE universe, and hopefully without rousing Capcom's ire since it would be an original effort and not something fannish that revisits one of their own retail titles (a-hem). I've already given you the premise and basic plot; you can work out the finer details. All you have to do is make sure you acknowledge Capcom as the creators of any materials used from the RE franchise. You have my permission to use the premise and basic plot; the rest is up to you (grin). Gameplay would be a lot like the old classic Amiga shooter The Persian Gulf Inferno, either of the Chronicles series RE franchise shooter games, or the classic Namco 3D arcade shooter Time Crisis -- save with RE franchise characters and foes. The ending would be just like Inferno's, with the player having to defuse (by remote) a bomb that's wired to the door where Dr. Walker is being held captive and having a random 50-50 chance of cutting the right wire to defuse the bomb and save her. It's not going to be a big game (unless you make that multi-story warehouse the size of Rhode Island) and it's going to play fairly fast until you get to the end and that bomb-wired door, but it should still be a lot of fun. This could be done easily and quickly by those with the suitable skills, since all the "assets" and resources you need are already out there or can be quickly adapted from or cobbled together from existing "assets" and resources. I hope someone or some fan group takes up this challenge, and I wish you good luck in advance.

One of the things of which Capcom has been continually guilty throughout the years is developing interesting original characters for its various RE franchise adventures as depicted in various media and then either doing nothing else with them or not using them again for years. Perky little Rebecca Chambers is the best example of the second case, but what about Nikolai Zinoviev (RE3, Outbreak series, RE3 REmake)? There are others too. Shall I give you some of the more notable examples of the first case? How about Billy Coen (RE Zero), Carlos Oliveria (RE3/RE3 REmake), Ark Thompson ([Gun] Survivor), Bruce McGivern and Fong Ling (Dead Aim), and more? As things stand right now Elza Walker doesn't even fall in the second category, given that her game (RE1.5) was cancelled three months shy of release, and the only two things that are "officially canon" (a-hem) about her as of this date (April 2023) are her name and an updated version of her firesuit, both of which were included in RE2 REmake. Get the picture? Okay, let's move on.
Having re-weaved Elza's story into a hopefully more exciting, fulfilling, and entertaining adventure with my Exodus fan novel, I didn't want to leave you hanging at its end as to what happened to her after that, as Capcom is so often guilty of doing. To that end I wrote and included an Epilogue briefly sketching out the rest of her life from after she finishes recovering from the Raccoon City T-Virus Outbreak in 1998 all the way to a few days after the last of the various C-virus outbreaks depicted in RE6 fifteen years later is dealt with. The above image was made either as I developed the Epilogue or made later after I completed it for highlighting a specific event referenced in it. To find out more, read the novel!
I also have two more Exodus supplementary web comics, both either covering or set in the Epilogue's time frame, that I hope to repost at a later date.
Enjoy, and feel free to remake as your artistic talents and available resources permit. You have my permission!
