COMMENTS

As before, this scene has been modified/adapted somewhat from the original short story for STNV web comic adaptation purposes. The only alteration I made was to drop a line by Triumvir Moraan suggesting that it might not be a good idea for Mori to see Kirk again. This was an editorial decision on my part, as I feel the story works better given that Mori's going to see Kirk again anyway, as Triumvir Moraan has just revealed. Stay tuned.

Triumvir Moraan of Arcos is being played by Gen Fu from Tecmo's Dead or Alive series. I needed an older character who could also give an air of authority, which Gen Fu definitely does in the DOA franchise given his status as your stereotypical martial arts master despite his age. He also has a kind side to him and is also a grandparent in that, which makes him a natural fit for the role in this story. (wink) His outfit in "Surprise!" is nothing more than a stock Fallout Vault jumpsuit with the colors inverted. The "new" purple trim on his outfit is supposed to represent his position as an Arcosian triumvir in my adaptation.
