Brandy, are you this persistent ...? He's getting used to it. - Brandy always loved to mess with Larry. She got such a kick out of the way he'd react to it. Here's a good example from the first season Autumn Spring episode "Prelude to a Date:"

Oh? And which of us might you have in mind for that honor .... - Let me remind you that Brandy's been dating Larry for about a month now, and the same goes with her friend Kimmy and Larry's co-worker Ted Wright (her future husband). The two of them met via a local online dating service per the first half of the first season episode "Prelude to a Date:"

I'm following your earlier example and cruising solo for a while - Not what Brandy wanted to hear; furthermore, Alan is using her own past words prior to her deciding to start dating Larry to dodge her little logic trap.
