Description
In celebration of All Hallow's Eve.I finally found some time to post again. I started this one last night and finished up this morning. The blending could use a bit more tweaking and i'm not quite happy with the lighting but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Freakies...as I opened the link to this picture, the wind blew my curtain so hard that the flimsy thing knocked my big, heavy lamp off the table, causing much noise of surprise. Not even kidding.
Despite the eerieness that seems to seep from the computer screen into this world (or perhaps because of it), it's fabulous.

Not sure about the eyes though. If they were oriented towards the girl I'd feel the piece was more menacing, but then kitty eyes can only do so much..

I like this a lot, if not for any other reason than that its a photomanipulation with a very painterly feel, but there are other reason. The mood is excellent especially for this time of year, and the symmetry of the framing trees and the lair in contrast of the non symmetry of everthing else is also a nice touch. And lastly, the use of yellow for the eyes instead of the cliched red is a big +
