There's so much to be said about this! The colouring naturally was the first thing to jump out at me, it's so rich yet because of the general lack of variety of colours it seems beautifully understated. The simplicity of the photograph most notable in the background gives the model (particularly emphasised by her expression) a mix of lust and sorrow, depending on your interpretation. But my favourite thing about this photograph is the use of shadow; the model's body has become an almost "yin/yang" shape leaving the piece seem oddly fantastical.
